Maddy Andrews: Photojournalist.

I’m not a huge fan of my photojournalism module at uni, and I make no efforts to hide it really.

To me, it’s stalker training, a lesson in how to become a member of a paparazzi. And we have been shown an awful lot of pap videos and photos. It’s weird. I mean, it’s not like I don’t enjoy taking photos, and I know I need to know how to take photos to be a successful journalist or whatever. But I still hate it.

I mean, surely almost anyone who can afford a decent enough camera can take a photo like this.

everyone loves fireworks.

I mean, I know not everyone can, but it’s not exactly hard really. I don’t think.

But when my photos from the Hanley Christmas Lights switch on got published in the Sentinel I was so happy.

I still don’t know how much I enjoy the subject but it’s growing on me, I like that I’ve learnt more about photography. At the same time though I’m looking forward to it being over – but that might have something to do with the fact that I’m so stressed at the mo.

Christmas Lights.

I went to the Stoke Christmas Light switch on last night, it was lovely. I took some beautiful photos. So I thought I’d show them to you 🙂

that last one of the firework wasn’t actually in Stoke, but at the Manchester lights, which were also beautiful.
